I launched a new project at the beginning of August from absolute zero. Fresh domain, no traffic from existing sources, no outreach to established contacts.
I’m documenting the entire build in public, real numbers included, with a recap every month. You'll get the recap of the first month at the end of August. I'm not sharing the site yet, as I don't want to send it traffic beyond what I'm getting from organic search and social from that niche. It's a small niche, so a spike in traffic from the wrong audience skews the data. You'll know what it is soon!
It's proof of concept. Here are my 90-day goals:
The floor:
300 monthly unique visitors
100 email subscribers
3 ranking keywords
500 followers on social (this seems to be where a lot of people hit a wall on platforms like IG)
The stretch:
1,000 monthly unique visitors
500 email subscribers
10 ranking keywords
800-1,000 followers on social
While I'm working, expect no more than one email a week, likely closer to once a month as I get things rolling. I'll send you updates on the site, tips on what worked and didn't work, and resources I'm working from (or not working from—most of the time, I'm just winging it over here).
